ICON_SCH -- for invoking the schematic icon menu.\r\n\t2. ICON_PRT -- for invoking the PCB icon menu.\r\n\t3. ICON_LIB -- for invoking the general library icon menu.\r\n\r\n You can insert any component from the library by selecting\r\n any icon from the icon menu.\r\n\r\n Furthermore, you can update this icon menu by following the\r\n steps below. Of course, these operations must be performed\r\n after the system has been properly installed.\r\n\r\n At the DOS prompt and in any of your workspace, type:\r\n\r\n\tmakeicon \r\n\r\n The system will prompt you which library to generate the icons\r\n from. Select the one that you have new components created. The\r\n rest is automatic. In AutoPCB User's Manual page 29, section 2.1.2 Usage:MPC; you don't have\r\n to give a Hard Drive name. MPC will automatically find your APCBUSER work\r\n directory, and will create a new work space subdirectory under APCBUSER.\r\n\t The Format is : MPC workspace_name \r\n\r\n\r\n 2. AutoPCB User's Manual page 30, section 2.1.3.\r\n Usage : GPC; same as MPC usage, you only need to type is:\r\n\t GPC workspace_name \r\n\r\n 3. AutoPCB User's Manual page 31, section 2.1.4.\r\n Usage of LPC; same as MPC or GPC, you only need to type :\r\n\t LPC \r\n LPC will automatically find any work space subdirectory under APCBUSER.\r\n\r\n\r\n 4. Hybrid Users:\r\n The following are the recent additions:\r\n a, You can specify both the printed resistor overlap and the\r\n\t conductor pad width during the schematic post processing.\r\n b, The printed resistors together with their conductor pads will\r\n\t be created automatically before the parts placement. You need\r\n\t not specify the insertion point, the locations of the reference\r\n\t designator and the resistor value.\r\n c, Resistor table \".res\" generated by the schem program provides\r\n\t another means of data input into the system for design\r\n\t modification.\r\n d, Substrate pads for the dies will be created on separate layers\r\n\t (G1 thru G16) where G1 corresponds to C1, etc.\r\n\r\n 5. Schematic symbols are now equiped with connection marks for\r\n positive identification of signal line connections during\r\n schematic entry. The system will automatically detect line overlap\r\n and will repair such connections immediately.
