"desc_text": "This file contains information that was not available\r\nat the time the MediaBlitz documentation went to press.\r\n\r\nReuse and redistribution of clip media\r\n=======================================\r\nRemember, you are not authorized to use the MediBlitz \r\nsound files for broadcast or public performance. Also, \r\nall MediaBlitz files are subject to the Asymetrix MediaBlitz\r\nLicense Agreement, even if you have modified them or used \r\nthem to add to or create new files.\r\n\r\nError when using Windows 3.0\r\n=============================\r\nIf you are running MediaBlitz under Windows 3.0 and opening\r\nand closing ToolBook applications that do a restore system \r\nin the enterbook handler without forwarding the enterbook \r\nmessage, you may receive an Unrecoverable Application Error. \r\nThis will not occur if you are using Windows 3.1.\r\n\r\nEvent synchronization with .MMM and .AWM files\r\n================================================\r\nIf you have created a score with MacroMind Director or \r\nGold Disk Animation Works files, make sure that other clips \r\nin the score begin playing before the animation file plays \r\nor after the animation file has finished playing. MediaBlitz\r\ndoes not receive its timer event messages when either of these\r\nfile types are playing.\r\n\r\nPalette for 256-color bitmaps\r\n==============================\r\nIf you are combining 256-color bitmaps with the 256-color \r\nbitmaps shipped with MediaBlitz, you may want to apply the \r\nASYM5.PAL palette file to each of your bitmaps to prevent \r\npalette conflicts. All 256-color bitmaps included with \r\nMediaBlitz use this palette. For more information regarding\r\ncolor and bitmaps see the card titled \"Bitmaps in Sample \r\nScores\" included in this package.\r\n\r\nSlower computers\r\n=================\r\nIf you are playing very complex scores with overlapping clips \r\nand files on a machine at or near the minimum requirements for \r\nMediaBlitz while in ScoreMaker, the timeline ticker may \r\ncontinue to move after the last item in the score has played. \r\nPress Esc to stop the ticker.\r\n\r\nOne score limit\r\n================\r\nYou can only play one clip or score at a time in MediaBlitz and \r\nMultimedia ToolBook. To stop a clip or score before it plays to \r\nthe end, press Esc. When you launch a score while another score\r\nis playing, the first score will terminate in it's current position\r\nand the new score will start.\r\n\r\nChanges to environment files made by MediaBlitz setup\r\n======================================================\r\n Changes to your AUTOEXEC.BAT:\r\n During Setup, MediaBlitz adds the MediaBlitz directory, the \r\n Runtime ToolBook directory, and the ToolBook multimedia \r\n extensions directory to the front of your path statement. \r\n\r\n Changes to your WIN.INI:\r\n If you did not have a previous version of TBOOK or ToolBook\r\n installed, MediaBlitz adds the ToolBook file extension, \r\n TBK=TBOOK.EXE ^.TBK to the [Extensions] section of your \r\n WIN.INI. \r\n\r\n If you install the version of TBOOK that comes with \r\n MediaBlitz and have a previous association for the .TBK \r\n extension in your WIN.INI, the setup program will give \r\n you the choice of changing the file association to \r\n reference this version of TBOOK.\r\n\r\n Setup will add the file associations (FLI and FLC) for \r\n the Autodesk Animator driver to the [MCI Extesions] section\r\n of WIN.INI. You can install this driver from Disk 1 of\r\n MediaBlitz installation set using the Windows Control Panel.\r\n\r\nAdditional environment files\r\n=============================\r\nMediaBlitz adds two .INI files during setup. ASYM.INI points to \r\ncommon files used by Asymetrix applications. MDIABLTZ.INI \r\nstores the paths to each MediaBlitz application and the values \r\ndefined in the MediaBlitz Preferences dialog box."
