However, under Windows 3.1 please note the following\r\nif you use a dot matrix printer. \r\n\r\nMicrosoft has greatly improved the appearance of dot matrix printing,\r\nbut in some cases speed may be sacrificed. If this is a problem for\r\nyou then we recommend one of the following:\r\n* In Maintain, Defaults, Global Options, check \"Force draft mode\".\r\n This will help in some cases.\r\n* Use the Windows 3.1 IBM Graphics printer driver in the highest \r\n (default) resolution if your printer is compatible with that driver.\r\n\r\n*******************************************************************\r\nBank Reconciliation\r\n*******************************************************************\r\nPeachtree Accounting for Windows has a number of new features. One of\r\nthem is an optional bank reconciliation. Please note that the bank \r\nreconciliation system starts with the premise that all checks and deposits\r\nentered into the system are still outstanding. Therefore it may be\r\nnecessary to clear numerous transactions (double click them) the very\r\nfirst period that you reconcile your bank account.\r\n\r\n*******************************************************************\r\nThe rest of this file only applies if you are upgrading from \r\nPeachtree Crystal Accounting\r\n*******************************************************************\r\n\r\n1. When you open an old company for the first time, Peachtree Accounting \r\n for Windows will automatically update it. However, this automatic \r\n update may fail if you run out of disk space. Please insure that\r\n you have adequate disk space, AND that you have made a backup of\r\n your data first. For this purpose, \"adequate\" is about 2 times\r\n the total size of all of your current data files in your largest \r\n company.\r\n\r\n2. Font selection is now printer independent.
