How to Get Help\r\n 2. Important Information\r\n 3. File List\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n1. HOW TO GET HELP\r\n------------------\r\n\r\n If you need help with SuperKey, please read this file and the Owner's\r\n Handbook, especially Appendix D, HELP!!!. The sample macro files\r\n included on this disk are also a good source of information on how\r\n SuperKey may be used.\r\n\r\n If you still have a question and need technical assistance, help is\r\n available from the following sources:\r\n\r\n 1. Type GO BORLAND on the CompuServe bulletin board system.\r\n 2. Check with your local software dealer or user group.\r\n 3. Write to: Borland International\r\n SuperKey Technical Support\r\n 4585 Scotts Valley Drive\r\n Scotts Valley, CA 95066\r\n 4. If you have an urgent problem that cannot wait and you have sent\r\n in the license agreement from the front of your manual, you may\r\n call the Borland technical support department.\r\n\r\n Please have the following information ready before calling:\r\n\r\n 1. Product name and disk serial number\r\n 2. Computer name, model and the names and model numbers of any\r\n additional hardware.\r\n 3. Operating system and version number (the version number can be\r\n determined by typing <VER> at any DOS prompt).\r\n 4. Contents of your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.\r\n 5. Contents of your CONFIG.SYS file.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION\r\n------------------------\r\n\r\n 1. If you have a 101 key keyboard from IBM (one that has\r\n function keys F11 and F12) please note that the Print Screen\r\n and the grey * are not on the same key as the older style 83 key\r\n keyboards. For this reason the Show Titles command becomes\r\n <ALT><*> instead of <ALT><PRTSCR> where the <*> is on the numeric\r\n keypad. Note that the <*> is different than a shifted 8.\r\n\r\n 2. Superkey's feature of blanking the screen over graphics may not\r\n work properly with programs that do not tell the computer when\r\n graphics are active. Typically, when you invoke Superkey over\r\n a program such as this, you will get \"modern art\" on the screen\r\n behind Superkey. To get your graphics back when you exit Super-\r\n key you will have to issue a command to redraw the screen. An\r\n example of this is invoking Superkey over a Lotus 1-2-3 graph.\r\n To redraw your graph after exiting Superkey, simply press <ESC>\r\n and then select View under the Graph menu of Lotus 1-2-3.\r\n\r\n 3. SuperKey and the IBM PCjr. Since the IBM PCjr cannot send the\r\n keystroke <ALT></>, which is needed to invoke the SuperKey main\r\n menu, it is necessary to change the \"hot key\" to <CTRL></>. This\r\n is done by simply running the file PCJRINST.BAT located on the\r\n disk. At the DOS prompt, simply type PCJRINST then press <ENTER>\r\n before loading SuperKey for the first time. From then on, you can\r\n load SuperKey by simply typing KEY and invoke the menu by pressing\r\n <CTRL></>.\r\n\r\n 4. For more helpful information, be sure to refer to the manual,\r\n including Appendix F. HELP!!! . This Appendix contains answers\r\n to the most commonly asked questions regarding the use of\r\n SuperKey.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n3. FILE LIST\r\n------------\r\n\r\n NOTE: Several of the macro files (MAC) listed below are for use\r\n with different word processors and spreadsheets. These are provided\r\n to demonstrate how you can use SuperKey to make different programs\r\n \"look\" and \"feel\" the same by providing the same keystrokes to do\r\n similar functions. These files are for demonstration purposes\r\n only and can be modified to suit your own needs.\r\n\r\n\r\n File Description\r\n --------------------------------------------------------------------\r\n\r\n README COM - Program to display the README file on the screen\r\n\r\n KEY COM - The SuperKey program\r\n KEYDES COM - The SuperKey program with the DES encryption\r\n implementation\r\n KEY HLP - Help file for SuperKey\r\n\r\n LAYOUT COM - The keyboard layout program\r\n\r\n KEYINST COM - SuperKey installation program\r\n PCJRINST BAT - This file contains the necessary commands to get\r\n SuperKey running properly on the PCjr.\r\n\r\n 123 MAC - Macros to be used with LOTUS 1-2-3\r\n 123TRNSP MAC - Same macro file as above but with the transparent\r\n (<TRANSP>) command included\r\n BASICA MAC - Macros to be used with BASICA\r\n DOS MAC - Macros that make common DOS commands a little\r\n easier to use\r\n DOSTRNSP MAC - Same macro file as above but with the transparent\r\n (<TRANSP>) command included\r\n EDIX MAC - Macros to be used with EDIX\r\n FOREIGN MAC - Macros that allow you to use the letters most\r\n commonly found in foreign languages\r\n GRAPH MAC - Macros that allow you to use extended ASCII\r\n characters to do graphics\r\n GRAPH2 MAC - \"\r\n INVENT4 MAC - A Macro demonstrating what beautiful music you can\r\n make with SuperKey's sound capability.\r\n LUNCH MAC - A Macro that demonstrates keyboard lockout\r\n MERGE1 MAC - Macros that demonstrate the merge facility in\r\n SuperKey\r\n MERGE2 MAC - \"\r\n MERGE3 MAC - \"\r\n REFLEX MAC - Macros to be used with Reflex, The Analyst from\r\n Borland International.\r\n SUPCALC3 MAC - Macros to be used with SuperCalc3\r\n TAPE MAC - Macros to be used with SideKick's calculator\r\n that allow you to use the notepad as a tape\r\n TAPEOFF MAC - File that allows you to turn TAPE on and off\r\n TURBO MAC - Macros to be used with Turbo Pascal\r\n VISICALC MAC - Macros to be used with Visicalc\r\n VOLKSWTR MAC - Macros to be used with Volkswriter\r\n WORDIX MAC - Macros to be used with Wordix\r\n WORDPER MAC - Macros to be used with Word Perfect 4.0\r\n WS MAC - Macros to be used with WordStar\r\n\r\n DVORAK LAY - Sample layout file simulating a Dvorak keyboard\r\n\r\n LETTER TXT - Sample document you can experiment with encryption\r\n on\r\n\r\n README - This file\r\n\r\n\r\nEND\r\n---"
