=================================================================\r\n\r\n Most of the files on this disk are compressed. You must run the\r\n Windows 3 Power Tools SETUP.EXE program to expand them. The setup\r\n program will create a directory for each program and install its\r\n files there. \r\n\r\n The SETUP.EXE program, in the root directory of the disk, must be\r\n run from Windows 3.0. The setup program suggests that the programs\r\n be installed in the C:\\WINDOWS\\PWR-TOOL directory. The setup process\r\n will build subdirectories under the directory you specify for the\r\n individual applications.\r\n\r\n Except for Oriel for Windows, all of the programs provided on this disk\r\n are 100% functional evaluation copies of commercial Shareware products. \r\n They have been provided for your free evaluation. SPECIAL COUPONS have \r\n been provided in the back of the Windows 3 Power Tools book which will\r\n give you substantial discounts off of the retail prices of three of these\r\n programs, Aporia, Command Post and WinEdit; in the case of IconDraw, a\r\n coupon offering you a discount on a commercial, non-shareware version has\r\n been included. If you wish to use these Shareware products provided on \r\n this disk, please use the special coupons to save yourself some money.\r\n \r\n In the \\BIN directory on the disk is a special program, EXPAND.EXE,\r\n and an accompanying text file, EXPAND.TXT, which explains how to use\r\n the expand program to uncompress. Normally the expand program is\r\n not required, but may be useful if you wish to extract a file from\r\n disk without running the setup program.\r\n\r\n\r\n * Oriel\r\n\r\n\tNo additional notes at this time.\r\n\r\n * Aporia\r\n\r\n\tThe Power Tools setup program copies Aporia files into a\r\n\ttemporary directory (AP-SETUP). The Aporia setup program is\r\n\tthen automatically run from the temporary directory and installs\r\n\tAporia by copying files from the temporary directory into the\r\n\tdirectories you specify.\r\n\r\n\tOnce you've run the Aporia Setup, you can delete the files from\r\n\tthe temporary directory (AP-SETUP) and save yourself 640KB of\r\n\tdisk space. The AP-SETUP directory for Aporia is located under\r\n\tthe directory you specify when you run the Power Tools setup\r\n\tprogram. The AP-SETUP directory has 13 files in it, all of which\r\n\tmay be deleted. If you use the default setup directory, the\r\n files in the C:\\WINDOWS\\PWR-TOOL\\AP-SETUP directory may be deleted\r\n once Aporia is installed.\r\n\r\n\r\n * Command Post\r\n\r\n\tCommand Post, being a complete Windows environment, requires that\r\n\tthe directory in which it resides be placed in the DOS PATH\r\n\tstatement. If you choose the setup program's default of \r\n C:\\WINDOWS\\PWR-TOOL, then you should add the C:\\WINDOWS\\PWR-TOOL\\CMDPOST\r\n directory to your path statement.
