If you type your user ID as the personal group name, you will\r\nbe prompted to change the name.\r\n\r\nPREFERENCES\r\n=========================\r\nYou can now choose Preferences from the File menu in the Main\r\nWindow, In Box, Out Box, Trash, and calendar views. \r\n\r\nSHELF\r\n=========================\r\nThere are three icons displayed on the Shelf upon starting WP\r\nOffice.  They are Unopened Items, Week View, and QuickTour. \r\nDouble-clicking the Unopened Items icon opens your In Box and\r\ndisplays all messages, appointments, notes, and tasks that have not\r\nyet been opened.  Double-clicking Week View displays a weekly \r\ncalendar.  Double-clicking QuickTour executes a short demonstration\r\nof WP Office 4.0 for Windows.\r\n\r\nSHELF\r\n=========================\r\nIf you add an icon to the Shelf that executes a DOS application\r\nfrom the network, it is recommended that you create a PIF file for\r\nthe application and copy that file to a directory on your hard\r\ndrive.  Instead of selecting the .EXE file as the filename in the\r\nAdd View dialog box, select the PIF filename.  \r\n\r\nSee your Windows manual for information about creating a PIF file.\r\n\r\n=================================================================\r\n2    NTTUNES.INI\r\n=================================================================\r\n\r\nThe NTTUNES.INI file contains the master tunes for WP Notify, and\r\ncan be accessed by all users on the post office.\r\n\r\n[MASTER TUNES]\r\n=========================\r\nThis section contains any tunes that are shipped with WP Notify or\r\nadded by the System Administrator.\r\n\r\nFor example, Silent Night=95,392,340,440,113,392,227,338,454 where\r\nSilent Night is the tune name, 95 is the tempo, 340 is the\r\nfrequency, and 440 is the duration (the frequency and duration are\r\nrepeated for each note).\r\n\r\n=================================================================\r\n3    OFWIN.INI\r\n=================================================================\r\n\r\nThe OFWIN.INI file is the initialization file used by WP Office for\r\nWindows to store specific settings.\r\n\r\n[ADDRESS BOOK]\r\n=========================\r\n     NameSearch.Space=1       This option specifies whether a\r\n                              space acts as a field delimiter when\r\n                              doing a name search.\r\n                              0=NO and 1=YES.\r\n\r\n     NameSearch.Comma=1       This option specifies whether a\r\n                              comma acts as a field delimiter when\r\n                              doing a name search.\r\n                              0=NO and 1=YES.\r\n\r\n     NameSearch.Tab=0         This option specifies whether a TAB\r\n                              acts as a field delimiter when doing\r\n                              a name search.\r\n                              0=NO and 1=YES.\r\n\r\nThe following keys store the positions of the columns in the\r\nAddress Book.\r\n\r\n     [Address Book]\r\n     Users.Columns=\r\n     UserIDs.Columns=\r\n     Personal Groups.Columns=\r\n     Public Groups.Columns=\r\n     Resources.Columns=\r\n\r\nThe following keys store the positions of the columns in the View\r\nGroup dialog box for personal and public groups.\r\n\r\n     [Address Book]\r\n     ViewPerGrpMembers=\r\n     ViewPubGrpMembers=\r\n\r\n[APPOINTMENTS]\r\n=========================\r\n     BegTime =           This option specifies the starting time\r\n                         for the times listed in the appointment\r\n                         control.\r\n\r\n     EndTime =           This option specifies the ending time for\r\n                         the times listed in the appointment\r\n                         control.\r\n\r\nBegTime and EndTime are specified in minutes beginning at midnight.\r\n\r\nFor example, to display the time from 8:00am to 5:00pm, you would\r\nspecify BegTime=480 and EndTime=1020.\r\n\r\nThe Display Time Intervals option must be set in the Appointment\r\nTime Preferences dialog box for these settings to take effect.  The\r\ndefault values are as follows which represent 12:00am to 11:59pm:\r\n\r\n     [Appointments]\r\n     BegTime=0\r\n     EndTime=1439\r\n\r\n[BUTTON BAR]\r\n=========================\r\n     Sticky=Per View\r\n\r\n     Sticky=Default\r\n\r\nPer View determines which Button Bar files and position settings\r\nare sticky.  Each item view can have its own settings because it\r\nhas its own name such as Day or Expanded Mail.  The Main Window, In\r\nBox, Out Box, and Trash also have their own settings saved. \r\n\r\nDefault means that Button Bar information is saved based on the\r\nnine view types:  Main Window, In Box, Out Box, Trash, Info,\r\nAttachment Viewer, calendar views, and all read and send item\r\nviews.\r\n\r\n     [Button Bar]\r\n     Main=000;main.ob0\r\n     Inbox=000;inbox.ob1\r\n     Outbox=000;outbox.ob2\r\n     Trash=000;trash.ob3\r\n     Calendar=1023;calendar.ob4\r\n     ReadItem=000;readitem.ob5\r\n     SendItem=000;senditem.ob6\r\n     Info=000;info.ob7\r\n     Viewer=000;viewer.ob8\r\n\r\nIf Sticky=Per View, then this section will also contain the\r\nIniBaseName of the Calendar and Item Views.  The format of the\r\nsetting will remain the same.\r\n\r\nThe first digit can be 1 for True or 0 for False, which determines\r\nwhether the Button Bar is visible.\r\n\r\nThe second digit represents the location of the Button Bar on the\r\nview window; 0 is the top, 1 is the left, 2 is the right, and 3 is\r\nthe bottom.\r\n\r\n0, 23, or 39 indicate that the Button Bar buttons display graphics\r\nand text by default.\r\n\r\n21 or 37 indicate that the Button Bar buttons display only\r\ngraphics.\r\n\r\n22 or 38 indicate that the Button Bar buttons display text only.\r\n\r\nThe semicolon (;) separates the Button Bar file name from the\r\nsettings numbers.  If the file name does not have a path, it looks\r\nin the default button bar, macros, and views path. \r\n\r\n[CUSTOM COMMANDS]\r\n=========================\r\nThis section contains custom commands that are installed into the\r\nOffice for Windows menus at runtime.  The format of these custom\r\ncommands is compatible with Windows(TM) for Workgroups with the\r\nexceptions noted below.\r\n\r\n     [Custom Commands]\r\n     key=version;menu;name;position;DLL name;ordinal;command;\r\n     event map;;;;\r\n\r\n          KEY            A unique identifier for the custom\r\n                         command.\r\n\r\n          VERSION        3.0\r\n\r\n          MENU           The menu where the custom command is to\r\n                         be added, such as Tools.\r\n\r\n          NAME           The name that appears in the menu.  You\r\n                         may include an ampersand (&) in front of\r\n                         the letter that is to be used as the\r\n                         Alt+key accelerator.\r\n\r\n          POSITION       The position within the menu to place the\r\n                         command.  Zero is the first position, one\r\n                         is the second, and so forth.\r\n\r\n          DLL NAME       Name of the DLL that implements the\r\n                         custom command.  The DLL name can be\r\n                         optionally followed by a comma and the\r\n                         ordinal of the entry point to call\r\n                         command A string passed as one of the\r\n                         parameters to the DLL.\r\n\r\n          EVENT MAP      This entry can be (and commonly is)\r\n                         empty.  If it is not empty, it is a\r\n                         sequence of 16 digits specifying the\r\n                         events that the command supports.  Each\r\n                         digit can be 0 or 1 to indicate whether\r\n                         the DLL should be called for the specific\r\n                         event.  There are currently three events\r\n                         defined; the rest are reserved and must\r\n                         be 0.  The first digit specifies run at\r\n                         startup.  The second digit specifies run\r\n                         at exit.  The third digit specifies run\r\n                         at the arrival of new mail.\r\n\r\n          ;;;;           Required as termination of the custom \r\n                         command.\r\n\r\nFor example, the following line will add WP Office View Designer to\r\nthe Tools menu below the Rules menu item.  Selecting the menu item\r\nwill launch WP Office View Designer.\r\n\r\nViewDesigner=3.0;Tools;&ViewDesigner;1;ofrunapp.dll;vewin.exe;;;;;\r\n\r\nDifferences from Windows(TM) for Workgroups\r\n\r\n1    WP Office does not support the <ExtsDir>.\r\n\r\n2    WP Office does not support the status text, Help file, or Help\r\n     context parameters.\r\n\r\n3    If you use Mail as the menu name, WP Office places the command\r\n     on the Send menu.\r\n\r\n4    WP Office supports menu names that Microsoft Mail does not\r\n     support.\r\n\r\n5    Custom commands added to the menus are always enabled in WP\r\n     Office.\r\n\r\n6    A custom command added to a menu will appear on all WP Office\r\n     windows.\r\n\r\n[ENVIRONMENT]\r\n=========================\r\n     Path=               This is the option that specifies the \r\n                         path to the post office when the user\r\n                         runs SETUP.  If this entry is missing, WP\r\n                         Office will prompt the user for the path\r\n                         at startup.\r\n\r\n     Initials=           WP Office writes these initials the first\r\n                         time it is run.  NTWIN uses the initials\r\n                         to find your Notify file.  WP Office\r\n                         should be run once before trying to run\r\n                         Notify.\r\n\r\n     TrashPrompt=1       Choosing Empty Selected Items in the\r\n                         Trash will prompt the user for\r\n                         confirmation by default.  If this key is\r\n                         set to 0, then WP Office will not prompt\r\n                         for confirmation when removing items from\r\n                         the Trash.  Empty Trash will always\r\n                         prompt for confirmation.\r\n\r\nThe following options let the user set the relative size of their\r\nviews and are only useful for users who have high resolution\r\nmonitors.\r\n\r\n     [Environment]\r\n     View Scaling=SMALL\r\n     View Scaling=MEDIUM\r\n     View Scaling=LARGE\r\n     View Scaling=NORMAL\r\n\r\n[FILES LOCATIONS]\r\n=========================\r\n     [Files Locations]\r\n     BBarMacros=         This is the directory where Button Bar\r\n                         files, macro files, and custom views are\r\n                         stored.\r\n\r\n     Default Save=       This is the directory where attachments\r\n                         and items will be saved by default.\r\n\r\n     Views=              This is the directory where custom views\r\n                         will be saved by default.\r\n\r\n[FOLDER SETTINGS]\r\n=========================\r\n     Expand All Levels\r\n     Expand One Level\r\n     Save/Restore Expansion\r\n\r\n     Inbox Folders=Expand One Level\r\n     Outbox Folders=Expand One Level\r\n     Other Folders=Expand All Levels\r\n\r\nIf the expansion preference has been set to the Save/Restore\r\nExpansion, when the folder list control saves itself, the string is\r\nreplaced with a list of base 36 numbers which are Database Record\r\nNumbers (drn(s)) of the folders displayed in the folder list\r\ncontrol.\r\n\r\nIf the Save/Restore Expansion value is being used, then the\r\nfollowing keys will be written:\r\n\r\n     [Folder Settings]\r\n     Inbox Folders.USERID=\r\n     Inbox Folders.USERID.Archive=\r\n\r\n[FONT]\r\n=========================\r\nThis section contains default fonts for controls and controls\r\nassociated with specific views.  \r\n\r\nThe format is ControlName=fontdesc or\r\nViewName.ControlName=fontdesc.\r\n\r\nThe fontdesc is font face, size, bold, italics, where bold and\r\nitalics can be 1 or 0.\r\n\r\nThe following are the supported control names with sample font\r\ndescriptions:\r\n\r\n     [Font]\r\n     Folder List Control=Times New Roman, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Item List Control=Madrone, -11, 0, 0\r\n     Appt Control=Courier New, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Note Control=Courier New, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Task Control=Courier New, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Message Control=Arial, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Looker Control=Arial, -12, 0, 0\r\n     Week Control=MS Sans Serif, -13, 0, 0\r\n\r\nThe following are the only ViewName.ControlName combinations that\r\nwill be written to the .INI file by WP Office.  However, other\r\ncombinations are valid and can be entered by hand such as Day.Appt\r\nControl=.\r\n\r\n     [Font]\r\n     In Box.Item List Control=MS Sans Serif, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Out Box.Item List Control=Arial, -13, 0, 0\r\n     In Box.Folder List Control=Tekton, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Out Box.Folder List Control=Times New Roman, -13, 0, 0\r\n     Trash.Item List Control=Madrone, -11, 0, 0\r\n\r\n[GRID OPTIONS]\r\n=========================\r\n     Settings=150 1 4 1 0\r\n\r\nThe value has the following form: x y interval units show_grid\r\nsnap_to_grid \r\n\r\n     X                   The number of WPUs (1200 = 1 inch)\r\n                         between vertical grids.\r\n\r\n     Y                   The number of WPUs between the horizontal\r\n                         grids.\r\n\r\n     INTERVAL            How often you would draw a line on a\r\n                         grid.\r\n\r\n     UNITS               Should be 4 and should not be changed in\r\n                         this release.\r\n\r\n     SHOW_GRID=1         1 to display grid lines; 0 to hide grid\r\n                         lines.\r\n\r\n     SNAP_TO_GRID=1      1 forces controls to nearest grid; 0 does\r\n                         not force controls to nearest grid.\r\n\r\n[IN BOX]\r\n=========================\r\n     SplitBar=           This option specifies the number of\r\n                         pixels for the Folder list in the In Box.\r\n                         This value defaults to one quarter the\r\n                         size of the In Box window.\r\n\r\n[LAUNCHING]\r\n=========================\r\n     Directory=          This is the directory in which files will\r\n                         be created when an attachment is opened\r\n                         (launched).\r\n\r\n     Prompt=1            This option controls whether the user\r\n                         will be prompted before launching an\r\n                         attachment if the associated application\r\n                         is in the correct format for launching.\r\n\r\n1 will always prompt before launching.  0 will only prompt when\r\nthere is no association.\r\n\r\n[MAIN WINDOW]\r\n=========================\r\n     OFWIN Position=     This option specifies the position of the \r\n                         WP Office Main Window the last time WP\r\n                         Office was exited.  The value for this\r\n                         key is x y w h n.  The letters x, y, w,\r\n                         and h are pixel values for the top left\r\n                         corner, width, and height of the window.\r\n                         The final value n is 1 if the window is\r\n                         maximized and 0 if it is not.\r\n\r\n     VEWIN Position=     This option specifies the position of the\r\n                         WP Office View Designer's Main Window the\r\n                         last time it was exited.  The value for\r\n                         this key is x y w h, where x, y, w, and h \r\n                         are pixel values for the top left corner,\r\n                         width, and height of the window.\r\n\r\n[NTWIN CONFIGURATION]\r\n=========================\r\n     MessageList=        This option stores the state of the Low,\r\n                         Normal, and High priority check boxes in\r\n                         the Subscribe to Notify dialog box.\r\n\r\nThe keys below can have the following values:\r\n\r\n     popupOnAlarm, sound file or tone name or (default)\r\n     iconChangeOnAlarm, sound file or tone name or (default)\r\n     noVisualOnAlarm, sound file or tone name or (default)\r\n\r\nThe default setting is popupOnAlarm.
