Software License Agreement \r\n\r\nNOTE: This form of Software License Agreement applies only to\r\nproducts purchased in the United States. If you have purchased\r\nthis product in any other country, please refer to the applicable\r\nform of Software License Agreement enclosed in the package\r\ncontaining this software.\r\n\r\nGrant of Rights\r\nThis software program, including any documentation and media\r\n(Software) is protected by copyright laws and international treaty\r\nand is a proprietary product of WordPerfect Corporation (WPCorp).\r\n\r\nWPCorp grants you the right to use the Software in the quantity and\r\non the platform(s) indicated on the enclosed Certificate of\r\nLicense. If this Software is an upgrade from a previous version of\r\na WPCorp software product, you may utilize either the current or\r\nprior version of the Software, but never both versions at the same\r\ntime. This Agreement supersedes any prior version license and\r\ngoverns your use of the Software.\r\n\r\nFor a single-user computer or workstation not attached to a\r\nnetwork, or for a network server, the Software is considered \"in\r\nuse\" when any portion of the Software is either loaded in memory or\r\nvirtual memory (Loaded) or stored on a hard disk or other storage\r\ndevice (Stored). For single-user computers or workstations\r\nattached to a network, the quantity of the Software \"in use\" is\r\nconsidered to be the greater of (i) the maximum number of computers\r\non which the Software is Loaded at any one time, or (ii) the\r\nmaximum number of computers on which the Software is Stored. \r\n\r\nOn a multi-user computer, the quantity of Software \"in use\" is\r\nconsidered to be the maximum number of sessions executed at any one\r\ntime.\r\n\r\nYou may make copies of the written documentation which accompanies\r\nthe Software in support of your authorized use of this WPCorp\r\nsoftware product. You may also make an archival copy of the\r\nSoftware for each License obtained under this Agreement.\r\n\r\nRestrictions\r\nYou may not rent or lease the Software without the written\r\npermission of WPCorp. You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse\r\nengineer, copy, create a derivative work, or otherwise use the\r\nSoftware except as stated in this Agreement. Irrespective of the\r\nnumber of sets of media included with the Software, you are granted\r\nthe right to use the Software only in the quantity indicated on the\r\nCertificate of License. Certain qualifications may apply to the\r\npurchase of this Software; when present, they are printed on the\r\nSoftware package and form part of this Agreement.\r\n\r\nHome or Portable Computer Provision\r\nYou are authorized to use a copy of the Software on a home or\r\nportable computer, as long as the extra copy is never Loaded at the\r\nsame time as the Software is Loaded on the primary computer on\r\nwhich you use the Software.\r\n\r\nIf you have purchased this Software under an education or\r\ncharitable institution pricing program, you may not create an extra\r\ncopy of the Software under this provision for use on a home or\r\nportable computer.\r\n\r\nLimited Warranty/Limitation of Liability\r\nThis Software is licensed AS IS. If for any reason you are\r\ndissatisfied with the Software, return the product package, with\r\nproof of purchase, to your reseller within 90 days of the date of\r\npurchase for a full refund. If any materials or media in this\r\npackage are defective, return them to WPCorp within 90 days of the\r\ndate of purchase, and they will be replaced at no charge.\r\n\r\nThis warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, express or\r\nimplied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and\r\nfitness for a particular purpose. In no event will WPCorp be\r\nliable to you for damages, including any loss of profits, lost\r\nsavings, or other incidental or consequential damages arising out\r\nof your use of or inability to use the Software, even if WPCorp or\r\nan authorized WPCorp representative has been advised of the\r\npossibility of such damages.\r\n\r\nSome jurisdictions do not allow excluding or limiting implied\r\nwarranties or limiting liability for incidental or consequential\r\ndamages, and some jurisdictions have special statutory consumer\r\nprotection provisions which may supercede this limitation. As a\r\nresult, this limitation of liability may not apply to you if\r\nprohibited by the laws of your jurisdiction.\r\n\r\nCustomer Support\r\nWPCorp will attempt to answer your technical support requests\r\nconcerning the Software; however, this service is offered on a\r\nreasonable efforts basis only, and WPCorp may not be able to\r\nresolve every support request. WPCorp supports the Software only\r\nif it is used under conditions and on operating systems for which\r\nthe Software is designed.\r\n\r\nGeneral\r\nIf any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void,\r\nor unenforceable, then that provision shall be severed from this\r\nAgreement and will not affect the validity and enforceability of\r\nany of the remaining provisions.
