Windows 3.0 is not supported.\r\n\r\nUpdated Drivers for Diamond Speedstar 24X Video Card:\r\n-----------------------------------------------------------------\r\nIf you are using the Diamond Speedstar 24X video card,\r\nupdated drivers are available from Diamond which may resolve \r\nincompatibility problems with ImageWizard, the Multimedia\r\nWizard Guide, and other applications.\r\n\r\nFile Formats:\r\n---------------\r\nImageWizard now provides write-only support for the Windows\r\nMetafile (.WMF) file format. The Run Length Encoded file\r\nformat is supported for read-only. The Image (.IMG) file format \r\nis not supported. \r\n\r\nOpening Animation Sequence:\r\n------------------------------------\r\nIf you wish to remove the opening animation sequence in \r\nImageWizard, follow the directions on the ImageWizard\r\nUninstall card. However, if you wish to bring back the\r\nopening animation sequence, you will have to re-install\r\nImageWizard. As an alternative, you could temporarily\r\ndisable the opening animation sequence by renaming\r\nthe intro.avi file, found in the Wizard 1.0 sub directory,\r\nto (yourname).avi. Then, if you wish to use the animation \r\nsequence again, simply rename it back to intro.avi. \r\n\r\nWorking Directory:\r\n----------------------\r\nImageWizard automatically assigns a \"working directory\" to your \r\nImageWizard program item in the Windows Program Manager.\r\nIt is important that you do not change this working directory; \r\nImageWizard may not function properly if it is changed.\r\n\r\nScanners:\r\n-----------\r\nIn order to use a GPIB-interface scanner with ImageWizard, you\r\nwill need to make sure that no other GPIB devices are hooked up \r\nto your computer when you scan.\r\n\r\nPrinters:\r\n----------\r\nImageWizard supports the Kodak XL 7700 printer series \r\nusing the GPIB-interface. ImageWizard does not support the \r\nSCSI-interface.\r\n\r\nMask:\r\n--------\r\nThe Invert and None tools on the Area/Create Mask tool window\r\nare available while you are creating a mask (that is, while\r\nthe Create Mask tool is depressed). This provides you with more\r\nflexibility in creating a mask. \r\n- Choose the Invert tool when you want to invert, or reverse, your\r\n current mask selection. \r\n- Choose the None tool when you want to select all but a few of \r\n the colors in the image for your mask. When you choose the\r\n None tool, the entire image will be selected for your mask.\r\n Then choose the Subtraction tool and select the colors of the \r\n image you wish to subtract from the mask. \r\n\r\nYou can also create an object based on your mask. Once you \r\nhave created a mask that you are satisfied with, you can turn \r\nthe portion of the image that is included in your mask \r\ninto an object by doing the following:\r\n 1. Choose Turn Mask On from the Edit menu.\r\n 2. Choose Grab Object from the Area menu. \r\nJust as with all objects, the object will be surrounded by an \r\noutline of alternating red and white dashes. The Move tool on the\r\nObject tool window will be automatically activated.\r\n\r\nDistort:\r\n---------\r\nThe Distort tool on the Object tool window is not functional\r\non computers without a math coprocessor (floating-point\r\nprocessor). 486 DX computers include a math coprocessor.\r\nOther computers, such as the 386 SX, 386 DX, and 486 SX, \r\ngenerally do not come with a math coprocessor. You can \r\npurchase a math coprocessor separately for these machines.\r\n\r\nMultimedia Wizard Guide:\r\n-------------------------------\r\nIf you are using a display driver with large fonts (some drivers\r\nof 800 x 600 resolution or higher), Multimedia Wizard Guide\r\ntext may not fit properly on the page. We suggest you view the \r\nMultimedia Wizard Guide using a display driver with small, or\r\nstandard, fonts.\r\n\r\nThe Multimedia Wizard Guide uses the following fonts that are \r\nsupplied with Windows: MS Serif, MS Sans Serif, and \r\nTimes New Roman.
