You can use any text editor to read \r\r\n these ASCII files, or you can read them in MicroStation. To do \r\r\n the latter, choose \"Text\" from the Display sub-menu of the \r\r\n pull-down File menu, as described in Chapter 1 of the Reference Guide.\r\r\n \r\r\nThe following documentation files are installed in MicroStation's \r\r\n \"DOCS\" directory (typically \"C:\\USTATION\\DOCS\"):\r\r\n \r\r\n * \"DOCNOTES.TXT\"--This file contains descriptions of software \r\r\n enhancements that were made after the MicroStation User's Guide, \r\r\n Reference Guide, and Customization Guide went to print. Many of these\r\r\n enhancements were in response to the suggestions of Beta testers. \r\r\n Documentation errata are also in this file. New users should \r\r\n particularly note the changes for User's Guide chapter 3 (p. U3-#) \r\r\n before starting the lessons in that chapter.\r\r\n \r\r\n * \"FIXES.TXT\"--This file contains information about problems in \r\r\n previous versions of MicroStation that are fixed in this version.\r\r\n\r\r\n * \"CERTNOTE.TXT\"--This file contains information about hardware \r\r\n and software dependencies, product delivery and use, and known \r\r\n problems. All users are encouraged to read the certification notice.
