By default, the install process will copy from the installation\r\ndisks in drive A to the hard disk drive C. If you need to change either\r\ndefault, you can modify the execution of the install program by listing\r\nnew drives to be used in place of the default drives. To change the\r\nsource disk drive, the drive where the install program will find the\r\nsource files, list the source drive (Don't forget the colon!) on the command\r\nline. To change the destination drive, you MUST enter the source drive\r\neven if you will be using A: and then enter the new drive letter to use\r\nfor the destination (Don't forget the colon!)\r\n\r\nFor example, to read the installation disks from drive B, use the following\r\ncommand:\r\n\r\ninstall B:\r\n\r\nTo install PC Animate Plus onto your hard drive D, use the following command:\r\n\r\ninstall A: D:\r\n\r\nTo install PC Animate Plus from drive B onto drive D, use the following\r\ncommand:\r\n\r\ninstall B: D:\r\n\r\nThere are two environment variables which PC Animate Plus uses. Properly\r\nsetting these variables will enhance performance and ease of use. The\r\nthree environment strings should be set in the autoexec.bat file so they are\r\nalways set after booting your computer. The two environment variables are:\r\n\r\nTMP\tSpecifies a disk/directory where PC Animate Plus should put it's\r\n\ttemporary files. If not set, PC Animate Plus will use the current\r\n\tdisk/directory.\r\n\r\nSB\tSpecifies the port address and interrupt level of the SoundBlaster\r\n\tcard, if you have one. PC Animate Plus uses the SoundBlaster for\r\n\tplaying sound effects during animations. This environment variable\r\n\tis specified as the port number (in hexidecimal), followed by a\r\n\tcomma (,), followed by the interrupt (IRQ) the board is set to.\r\n\tIncorrect settings can cause your computer to lock up, so be sure\r\n\tthese are correct.
