获得更多的可用内存(Making More Memory Available)

  Memory exists on your computer's main system board or on add-in memory boards. Before information is processed by the computer or displayed on the screen,it is first placed in memory. For example,application files are usually stored on a hard disk. When you run an application,its files are loaded into memory for processing. Memory also provides temporary storage for applications and data.
  内存位于系统主板上或者附加内存条上。信息在被计算机处理或者在屏幕上显示之前,首先被放入内存。例如,应用程序文件通常存储在硬盘上。当运行应用程序时,其文件首先被装入内存然后再执行。内存也为应用程序和数据提供临时存储。
  In general,the more memory you have,the more applications you can run simultaneously in the Windows environment.
  一般来讲,内存越多,在Windows环境中可同时运行的应用程序也就越多。
  There are several ways to make more memory available. You can:

  ·Make the most of the memory your computer already has. One way to do this is to run the MemMaker memory-optimization program,which adjusts the way your device drivers and programs use memory.
