        You can't buy one today, and you won't be able to for months-but Intel has taken the wraps off its next-generation CPU, code-named the P6. In its initial configuration, the P6 delivers twice the computing power of the 100-MHz Pentium, the current high end of the Pentium line.
        The P6 will first show up in system this fall, primarily in networks for business users. Afer that, it will make its way into desktop system for business and home use. P6 computers will be relatively expensive when they first come out, but by 1997 they should be the main stream processor for family PCs, just as the Pentium is today. By that time, Intel should be putting the finishing touches on the P7.
        If you can't wait for the P6, look for system built around the new 120-MHz Pentium to show up early this summer.

        在今天，你不能只购买一台微机了，用不了几个月，英特尔公司将推出下一代的微处理芯片，其代号为P6。最初推出的P6芯片，它的运算能力为100-MHz奔腾芯片的两倍，是当前奔腾系列芯片的极限速度。
